Most Lusk's came into this country late 1600's early 1700's to Pensylvania.Several stayed there and others moved along the frontier road and the frontier opened up in the early 1700's into the Shenandoa Valley in Rockbridge, Augusta, Lexington area's as early as 1730's. (Borden and Beverly tracts). In the mid to late 1700's families, such as Alexander, Bailey, Breckenridge, Black, Campbell, Davision, Davidison, Fulton, Hall, Harris, Hays, Houston, Lusk, Lyle, Lowery, McClung, McClure, McKee, McNabb,McCutchen, McCorkle, Moore, Patton, Robinson, Todd, Tyler, Vance, Walker, Wilson, Wallace, Whiteside, Young and Crocket.A lot of these surnames moved into Tennesse in the late 1700's when it was still part of North Carolina.Tennessee was developed as a state about 1795.
A lot of these names will be grouped together in all locations of TN.Long story short, Lusk's did move PA to VA.From VA to TN and into the Carolina's.From there into GA and Eastern AL.
Getting long here so will stop.
