I don't think the John C Lusk I was talking about connects up with your particular Lusks - but it has been a while since I've worked on this family, and maybe some new information has been discovered.
As far as I can tell, John C Lusk was the son of William Lusk and Mary Neely Lusk - although that is only an educated guess. Also, as far as I can tell, the "C" stands for "Compton."
