SH Lusk was, also, my great-great grandfather. I found a site that did studies of surnames (Lusk One-name Study). Mrs. Carr, who is putting together information sent to her about the Lusks, had SH Lusk listed as Samuel John Houston Lusk. She sent me some information as well as the genforum website. She also told me to look at the rootsweb site. I got a good bit of my information there. I also looked on the Latter Day Saints genealogy site. John Lusk's parents are believed to be William Lusk and Sarah Sally Roberts. Ruth Mason's (SH Lusk's Mom) parents are thought to be Joseph N. Mason and Isabelle Peoples. I have more information. My Mother is Linda Taylor Ray, and my grandmother was Vivian Lusk Taylor Lincoln. Where are you in the family line? Where are you located? I also have a couple of copies of pictures of Samuel and a few records. Thank you for responding. I would love to share information.
