Dolly M. Lusk
BLUEFIELD - Dolly M. Lusk, 80, of Route 1 Box 296 (Sandlick Road), Bluefield, died on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton.
Born Jan. 30, 1921, in Giatto, she was a daughter of the late Henry Pennington and Latha Pearl Pennington Underwood.
Mrs. Lusk had been a resident of Sandlick Road for 28 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Edward Lusk; sons, Buddy and Danny Lusk; grandchild, Mark Faulkner; son-in-law, Allen Howerton; sisters, Vivian Pennington, Danville Pennington and Bessie Taylor; and brothers, Paul and Hobert Pennington.
Survivors include daughters, Carol Coeburn and husband, Wayne of Montcalm, Marlene Faulkner and husband, Richard of Floyd, Va. and Doris Sexton and husband, Paul of Bluefield; sons, Gordon Lusk and wife, Betty, Johnny Lusk and wife, Jean, David Lusk and wife, Donna, Dennis Lusk and wife, Bernice, Rex Lusk and wife, Barbara, and Brian Lusk and wife, Mary all of Bluefield; 33 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Revs. David Lusk, David Kirby and Roger Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road, Princeton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.
Michael Sexton, Keith Howerton, Dennis Lusk, Kevin Faulkner, Travis Faulkner, Shawn Lusk, David Lusk and Danny Lusk will serve as pallbearers.
John Lusk, Eric Faulkner and Doug Lusk will serve as honorary pallbearers.

BLUEFIELD - Gordon M. Lusk, 63, of Route 1, Box 288, (Sandlick Road), Bluefield, died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at a Charleston hospital.
Born Dec. 1, 1941 in McComas, he was a son of the late Milton Edward and Dolly M. Pennington Lusk.
He had been a resident of Sandlick Road for 23 years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Lusk Disposal, Empire Salvage and Recycling, Bio Tech, Lusk and Sons, and Container LLC. He was a prominent business owner, landholder, and influence in the community. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Buddy and Danny Lusk.
Survivors include wife, Betty Carroll Lusk of the home; sons, Gordon Lusk, II and wife Angie and Danny Lusk and wife Jennifer, all of Rt. 1, Bluefield; brothers, Johnny Lusk and wife, Jean, David Lusk and wife, Donna, Dennis Lusk and wife, Bernice, Rex Lusk and wife, Barbara and Brian Lusk, all of Bluefield; sisters, Carol Coeburn and husband, Wayne of Montcalm, Marlene Faulkner and husband, Richard of Floyd, Va., Doris Sexton and husband Paul of Bluefield; and three grandchildren: Travis, Gary, and Gordon Lusk, III.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Roger Carroll, Rev. David Lusk, Rev. David Kirby, and Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at the Carroll Cemetery on Sandlick Road in Bluefield.
Pallbearers will be Tom Lilly, Ken Collis, Buddy Warden, Alvin Mason, Paul Curto, and Chuck Cole.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Russell, George Law, Ted Alger, Mark Neel and Larry McPherson.
Friends may call today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
