Obit for Elizabeth Lacey Lusk; "Elizabeth Lusk born Chester Dist., SC Aug 9, 1783; daughter of Edward and Jane Lacey, moved with parents to Kentucky, 1799; married George Vance Lusk; they moved to Tuscaloosa, Ala., 1816; moved to Texas, 1835; she died Leon Co., Texas in residence of son, Colonel Robert O. Lusk, August 26, 1849."
George Vance Lusk was the first judge of Shelby County, TX.
