Robin, I am researching the Samuel Lusk line in Amite county, the one I believe you are referring to. I do not find a Ben Alexander, or an Andrew in the direct line. I have found some Lusks in Copiah and Linlcon Counties, but have not been able to link them. I do know, however, that John Lusk, probably a brother, came with Samuel to the area. He is named in "Passports of Southeastern Pioneers, 1770-1823" as coming to the area in 1798. I have not been able to follow him. He was not found on the 1820 census in
Amite, so he may have moved on. I did find mention of two children, but they were not named. I hope this gives you some direction.
