Dear Jonathan,
I have spoken to my daughter who lives in Ballymoney and she has checked her telephone directory. Result- no Lusks in Ballymoney area, but other Lusks in Templepatrick area,(also Co.Antrim) who are in the world of race horses, also others listed in various parts of N.Ireland. I suggest you contact the genealogical society in Coleraine, which is close to Ballymoney. They are called Northern Ireland family history society, Coleraine branch. They have a web-site www.coleraine-nifhs.org.uk. They have transcibed recently birth, death and marriage notices from the local newspaper for the years 1840-1870 and it it has been published.I don't know if they carry out reserch for clients or not. I have an elderly aunt-92years old- still alive in Ballymoney, and her daughter, my cousin will be there this Christmas. I will ask her to 'grill' her mother on the Lusks, perhaps some information for you.
Regards , Samuel Fannin
