John Shillinger, Winnie Shillinger, and Esther Burney are buried in Plant City, FL (alongside my father,Thomas Garland, and grandfather, John Edward Garland (b Yalobusha County,MS). This Esther was born in 1850, either in SC or Mississippi. She grew up in Yalobusha County, MS, before moving on to Plant City. She was a teacher, and an elementary school in Plant City bears her name. I don't know of a Lusk tie, but this could be the same Shillinger family, which came originally from Germany. Would appreciate any info.
