In the History of Auglaize Co., Ohio by Robert Sutton, 1880, on page 176 is mention of a Wm Lusk and a Charles Lusk. These may have been related to this Charles Lusk.

Death of Charles Lusk
Charles Lusk at the age of 86, a farmer living north west of town died Monday of brain fever. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday and was conducted by Rev. Fred Loy of Americus.

Death of Lucinda Lusk
Mrs. Lucinda Lusk of Freemont township died on Tuesday of last week from the effect of a paralytic stroke, at the age of eighty one years. She was sick about a week. Her husband, Charles Lusk died a year ago last Wedensday.
Ten children were born to them, eight of whom are living. For fifty seven years the deceased had been a faithful member of the Protestant Methodist Church. She died in the faith hopeful of the reward that awaits them that follow in his steps and keep his commandments. With her husband, she settled in Lyon County about four years ago. They came here from Ohio. Fivemembers of the family attended the funeral which was held at the residence Friday at 10 o'clock.
Leon Lusk came from Barbor County, Mrs.Lucinda Wright and Mrs. Christina Harvey came from Missouri and two sons live here. The servives were conducted by Rev. Reynolds pastor of the M.P. Church. Interment was made at Maplewood beside the late husband.
The bereaved members of the family mourn the loss of a good christian mother and have sympathy of their friends.
