Thanks so much for replying so quickly!
I'd prefer corresponding by e-mail instead of through this system. If that's ok with you, my address is but if you'd rather not, we can just use this website.
Most of my research has been on Robert Lusk after he moved to Carter County in East Tennessee, so I have a lot on him after his move. As far as his Augusta County residence, I have some deeds and I've copied out all references to him in Lyman Chalkley's Chronicles of Augusta County. I have some other records too. I haven't been successful yet in finding much about Robert's father, John Lusk. As far as I could tell from a superficial survey, John appears to be Nathan Lusk's son although I know some people disagree. I'd like to know why they disagree so maybe I can find the correct information.
I connect to Robert through his son John, then through John's son Samuel Lusk, my 3rd great grandfather. How do you connect to Robert? Knowing that will help me determine which of my documentation will be most helpful to you.
I live within easy travel distance of the Salt Lake Family History Library and I'm willing to look up things on the Lusk line and share anything I find there.
Thanks again!
