I am Robert Lusk's fifth great granddaughter.(This Robert is the one that was born in Augusta County Virginia, and died in 1801 in Carter County, Tennessee)I recently traveled to Augusta County, Virginia in order to get more documentation on this line.I am willing to share all the information I have on this line, and would be extremely interested in any info you could share with me.
I believe the Lusks were not Irish, but they were Scotch-Irish.Their migration pattern fits perfectly as they traveled from Pennsylvania, to Virginia in the backcountry. The Scotch-Irish were in Ireland for a long time, but they tended to stick together in an ethnic group, and their ancestry eventually gets back to Scotland.
