I am Robert Lusk's fifth great granddaughter. (This Robert is the one that was born in Augusta County Virginia, and died in 1801 in Carter County, Tennessee) I recently traveled to Augusta County, Virginia in order to get more documentation on this line. I am willing to share all the information I have on this line, and would be extremely interested in any info you could share with me.
I believe the Lusks were not Irish, but they were Scotch-Irish. Their migration pattern fits perfectly as they traveled from Pennsylvania, to Virginia in the backcountry. The Scotch-Irish were in Ireland for a long time, but they tended to stick together in an ethnic group, and their ancestry eventually gets back to Scotland.
