It is Scottish and if you know anything about Scottish pronunciation it sounds like Loosk when pronounced by a Scotsman, Lusks were lowlanders, and the name means Cave. Many names when recorded were spelled by sounding out, etc. due to illiteracy I would imagine, but it is Lusk. :)
