I am not researching this family, just entering information from a booklet I own, "Backroading through Cecil County, Maryland" by Nancy Sawin and Esther Perkins, 1977:
"The Anchorage - (drawing included) This was the home of the Lusby family. When Ruth Lusby married Commodore Jacob Jones it became known as the Anchorage. The Commodore was the hero of the famous naval battle between his ship, 'The Wasp,' and the British ship, 'The Frolic,' in 1812. The Commodore was a gentleman who was very much respected by his neighbors in this area. Though he spent over fifty years in the Navy, he fitted in nicely with the country life."
"Commodore Jones was first buried in the graveyard of St. Stephens Church, along with his family. Later he was moved to Brandywine Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware. One wonders why his wife and children were not moved too, but they remain at St. Stephens."
There is a drawing of the tomb of Ruth Jones "Wife of Com. John Jacob Jones, 1796-1868."
