Several years have passed and I am still searching for JOHN WILLIAM LUPTON
b. October 1867,somewhere in eastern North Carolina
m. Lula Eloise Davenport April 1889 Washington County, North Carolina
d. November 1916 in Edenton, Chowan County, North Carolina
Neither his marriage or death certificates open any doors for further research. He lived most of his married life in Chowan County and indicated to family that he was from eastern North Carolina.
John and Lula Lupton were the parents of:
William Cecil Lupton b.1890-1972
Lucille Louise Lupton b.1892-1961
Samuel Hobson Lupton b.1899-1965
Ray Alvin Lupton b.1903-1914
