Found Ruth 'mcd'- married contrary to disclipline in 1816 and then spouse, David, 'disowned' in 1820.
As you said, no further reference was given, except that Ruth moved. Later their grandchildren by son, David Silas, were received upon 'request'.
Thank you for responding. You enabled me to find more positive proof of David Silas' parentage!!
