Lois - I'm trying to put together a database of as many Lupien family members as I can. (I'm beginning to think I took on an impossible task but I keep "plugging away" anyway to see where it leads me.)I would be most interested in your Lupien family information.I am a descendant of Francois Xavier's great uncle, Theodore Lupien, b. 1781. This Theodore was a brother of Franois Regis, b.1789, Francois Xavier's grandfather - both were children of Antoine Lupien and Madeleine Brule. My Theodore Lupien moved to WI in the early 1800s and had a son that was also named Theodore, b. c. 1818. (These early French families certainly liked to use the same names over and over again.)This Theodore (b. 1818) begin spelling our line of the Lupien family as Lupient. My mother was a great-granddaughter of this Theodore Lupient. My line: Nicolas, Jean Baptiste, Antoine, Theodore, Theodore, Gabriel, William Franklin "Frank", Lorraine, and then me.Another interesting note about "our" mutual family lines: through Madeleine Brule, we are related to Eleanor of Aquitaine and both her husbands, the Kings of France and England.
