Hi Pam:

By the data that was just sent me it would appear that James Lunney b. either 16 May 1819/1822 inherited the land there and his fathers name was Frederick. My James line also had a son named Frederick born 1858 according to the 1881 Census which incorrectly has the name spelt Tunney which is why I had been so long trying to find the correct one.

I've yet to get to the library to look up the 1861,1871 Census data that would be a good starting place as would getting the Cemetery Records from Durham Cemetery, Maple Section. The 1851 census does not have any Lunneys listed someone already checked so we can track the arrive time down to sometime after 1851 and before 1881. If the data is correct I suspect 1858.
