Thank you so much for your response. The area sounds right and the names Frank/Frances suggest a possible link.
My father's name was Frank (son of James, grandson of Alexander)and I am Colette Frances.
I'll definitely follow up on this line. Please keep in touch if you discover anything promising. Was your mother Catholic? (My branch was...)
