John & Mary Lunn of Harbottle, England

I am also researching the Lunn family and in particular the marriage details of John & Mary Lunn of Harbottle. I have been tracing my family roots for the last 18 months and have gone back 5 generations with the Lunn family to John & Mary. I have details of each generation who lived in the Newcastle area. I have 7 children for John & Mary starting with John DOB 1787 April 11; Bapt April 22,and including: James, Fredrick, Elizabeth, William, Mary and Margery. I can find no marriage details for Alwinton Parish. There would not be any for Harbottle Persbyterian Chapel (unless it was a blessing?). So I presume they were a cross border marriage. I have yet to check the OPR for Roxburghshire, but believe an IGI entry for the baptism of John Lunn might be a clue: 1761 July 13 at Hobkirk, Roxburgh; Father John Lunn. I would be pleased to hear from you with any information, and can provide details of my family. Regards, John Lochen @ Newcastle upon Tyne
