After the previous reply -- did a bit more research -- I've not concentrated on the Lundeen line much yet.

I found Peter in an 1866 Quincy, Illinois city directory and in an 1865 city census. He was a patternmaker for a Steel company in both the 1866 directory and in the other, 1901 reference I had for him. He is still in quincy when he wrote his will in 1908.

This gives a considerably better feel for his movements:

Bet. 1816-1825 Born in Sweden
~1850 (Guess) Immigrate to US.
1854 New York City
From 1865 to 1908 Quincy, Illinois.
