David Lunaburg is my distant cousin. The only Lunaburg clan I have know traced back to Chicago area who immigrated from Germany. It is my understanding our surname orginially name something else prior to immgration. When my ancestor came to Chicago and the people who processed the name asked their last name my ancestor thought they wanted to know where he came from and told them "Luneburg." As I understand that our last name literally from the town in Germany. My late aunt told me a quite few time about our family. I only counted 4 or 5 generation from the orginial ancestor. Rebuttal?
