In my research I have located a
James Lumsden (b abt 1840) who married a
Janet Mitchell (b abt 1842)in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1863
I am unaware how they came to Australia and when, but it must have been between 1863 and 1875. There are 6 other children (many deceased) shown on the Australian Birth certificate for Florence Lumsden (my great great grandmother)but at this point I do not know where the others were born.
If anyone can assist I would be grateful.
