Looking for father of Susannah Mathews who married Henry Lumsden, son of George, in 1797. Her mother, Eliza (or Elizabeth)Mathews signed the bond, but father is so far unknown. Elizabeth was legatee of a man named William Harris, but I don't know the connection. She may have been his daughter which means her maiden name would be Harris. I have searched the Harris forum without any luck. These people lived in Louisa and Spotsylvania counties, so someone should have some info on them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
