I am trying to obtain information regarding John Lumsden b abt 1816?. He married Anne Leach in Sept 18, 1836 in Perth, Ontario. I know of two sons, Thomas b 6 Jun 1838 and George b 4 April 1843. Both are included in the 1871 Census as being of Irish origin and living in Montague Twp. Each had 7 children. We have good documentation for at least one of George's descendents, John Herbert Lumsden. I am a ggrandson of George. We have no knowledge of the origin of their father John, where he lived after loss of his wife, or where he died. I am interested in pursuing possible connections with your family and immigration information?? Notify Administrator about this message?
