My ggrandfather is William Lumsden MA an episcopalean minister.

I am looking for John Lumsden's father, William Lumsden
b. abt. 1753 to 1762 I think probably in Wexford, Ireland. I do know that William Lumsden was buried in Wexford, Ireland.

William Lumsden's father, Alexander Lumsden, was "of the Fleet".
Alexander was b. abt 1723 to 1741, probably in Aberdeen area of Scotland.
Lumsden's were Jacobites and after 1745,the Battle of Culloden, were in the service of the Old East India Company.

Alexander Lumsden's father was George Lumsden,
b. abt 1693 to 1720 in Aberdeen area of Scotland.
If anyone has any thoughts, I would very much appreciate them.
Regards,
Barbara
