I don't know if this is any help or not (I am just starting our family history) but I was going through some papers that have the name Miss Isabella Hay Lumsden of Belhelvie Lodge on them. It says she lived at 13 McMaster Ave, Toronto, Ontario and died on or about April 8th, 1957. She had no children and never married. Her father was John McVeagh Lumsden who lived at Galt Waterloo County, Canada and died on or about Sept. 27th 1898. He was the second son of Colonel Thomas Lumsden and had a brother named Thomas. Thomas was a land surveyor and died at St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba on or about Sept. 28th, 1885 As I said this may have no connection but if it does please let me know as I have a box of ancient papers my father has had for years that I am going to try to wade through.
