Hi Gill, It would be good if we did link up - there are so many Lumsdens. My Grandfather David Lumsden was born 31/12/1878 in Newcastle. His father was Richard bc1847 Dunfirmline Scotland. David was one of six sons - Charles, William, Thomas,[David], Robert, John and 1 dau Elizabeth.
Information I have been given is that Richard's siblings were [Richard](m Mary J Hall) Tom, Martha, Janet(m Bill Kerr), Margaret (m Dobbie Martin) and Claire (or Sarah)Either Martha or Claire became Mrs Thompson. This information has been given to me verbally and has not been confirmed. Regards Lesley
