My gg-grandfather was John Lummus married to Mary Paar in Butts County. He was wounded at Gettysburg and died a few days later in a Yankee Hosp. His father was Cornelius Lummus and I understand Cornelius had about 13 children. Cornelius donated the land for Sardis Baptist Church which I think is on Covington Hwy. My g-grandmother was John & Mary's child.
