Dear Johnnie
Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding the Luker family. Unfortunately I cannot see any connection in any way. I have never heard of anyone going to the United States. I have traced my family back to about 1770, but always in London. They were mainly connected to stage coaches, and then to the gas industry. My own grandfather was a naval man and enlisted at a very early age. He married in 1902 to a very young wife, Harriet Suters, and had 5 children, before dying in 1920, aged 52.
So sorry that there is no connection.
