HI,
MY GRANDMOTHER'S NAME WAS ELISABETH JANE LUICK ( SHE ALSO USED THE NAME "ELSIE"), SHE HAD 2 SISTERS: HELEN AND ROSE. AS FAR AS I KNOW ALL THE SISTERS WERE BORN IN WISC. NOT SURE.
GRANNY MENTIONED THE NAME OF ONE HER RELATIVES BY THE NAME OF EMIL OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHICH COULD BE EMMANUEL? THAT COULD HAVE BEEN HER GRANDFATHER OR BROTHER.
MY GRANDMOTHER WAS BORN IN THE LATE 1880'S MARCH 17 TH.
HER HUSBAND WAS: ARTHUR JOHN LINAHAN ALSO FROM WISC.
THEY LIVED IN LOS ANGELES AND MOVED TO THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY.
ALMOST ALL OF THE RELATIVES WERE WORKING IN THE MOTION PICTURE FILM BUSINESS IN HOLLYWOOD.
THEY LIVED ALSO IN CULVER CITY IN THE 30'S
THE FAMILY MIGRATED FROM PRUSSIA, GERMANY PER MY GRANDMOTHER.
THE NAMES THAT FOLLOW ARE THE NAMES THAT THE SISTERS WERE MARRIED TO: LINAHAN,SAGER AND AICHELE.
THE LIST IS LONG..VERY EXTENSIVE IN THE CALIFORNIA AREA. NOT FAMILIAR WITH OTHER LUICKS IN OTHER AREAS EXCEPT THE WISC. GROUP, AND THAT IS VERY SKETCHY.

I AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE CONNCETION TO MY FAMILY AFTER MY GRANDMOTHER ON HER SIDE.
HOPE THIS HELPS.
M. SCOTT
