I have been researching my wife's family history. On her mother's side she is a Crowe. Her grandfather was Walter James, son of Thomas Andrew Crowe. Angela Young wrote a history of the Crowes and Byrnes: Ripe for Harvest. There is a copy in the State Library. There are some errors in it and I have been working on it. The relevant section in Angela's manuscript relating to Theresa M Quilter is:
Family of William J Crowe born in 1843 died at 1925. Married Theresa M. Quilter.

2. Rubina married Edward Evan Nepean Strickland:
