Dear Mr. Luebke,
I don't know for sure if my information relates to yours or not. My grandfather on my mother's side was a William or Wilhelm Luebke who immigrated to the U.S. around the beginning of the Franco-Prussian war (1880?). He married an Augusta Koltermann from Lebanon, WI and settled in Pierce, NE where he was the local blacksmith until his death about 1925.
My mother's maiden name included the names Minna and Bertha, which I notice are also in your listing, and the name Carl Luebke also strikes a chord, although I don't know the relationship.
I have one living Aunt left in Nebraska, I will contact her and see if she can clarify matters.
Dave Axtell, Boulder, Colorado
