I have a scant record for John Soule Ludden (Feb 26,1837) married to Anne Treat. His parents are Jacob Ludden(1760) and Phoebe White. I am trying to trace back further. My grandmother wrote that we are related to Peregrine White who was born on the Mayflower. I can't make the connection with the White's of the Mayflower (William and Suzanna). She states in the record that may great grandfather's uncle was named Pereguine after Peregrine White. Can you you shed any light on this connection?
