LUDDEN, COLE, COOPER in Arkansas
Posted by: Frances Gamble Brown Date: April 06, 2001 at 16:29:15

I am researching the families of LUDDEN, COLE, and COOPER in the state of Arkansas. Mary Elizabeth LUDDEN/LUDEN was married first to a Captain Cole who was killed in Action in the Civil War, Indian Regiment, CSA. They had a duaghter, Addie/Adele.

In September of 1868, subsequent to the Captain's death, Mary Elizabeth married Peter Caswell COOPER in Franklin County,Arkansas. Prior to 1891 the family relocated to the state of Oklahom, Indian Territory.

The children of Mary Elizabeth and Peter Caswell Cooper are: Joseph, Louisa Jane, Martha known as Mattie, Russell Murrey known as Jack and Wert. I would be so pleased to hear from anyone connected to these lines.
