Hello,
I recently learned that my childhood home (built circa 1851 in Hanson, MA) was first occupied by a Peregrine W. Ludden. You can see his property marked off in the center of the following map on Centre Street (archived by the Boston Public Library: http://maps.bpl.org/details_12795/?mtid=1275).
From what I have been told, the house was built for Mr. Ludden by Deacon George Forbes Stetson.
I don't have any more information, but I found your post when I Googled "Peregrine Ludden," and I thought I'd share what I know. I hope it is helpful.
