I have a postcard, a solarized photo of a cabin complex, with a caption that reads, "Dr. Ludden's home in the Elwah River Valley about 15 miles from Port Angeles. Built all by himself of Cedar Shakes."
The back of the postcard reads, "You forgot that the bears hibernate thru the winter, and start hiking soon as the spring migrants come and the frogs croak. An early trek for all the wild things now looks very probable. Much wetness has obtained. 2-8-26
