Eccleshall is a western suburb of Sheffield, on the route to Hathersage and the Hope Valley. Eccleshall Parish is a fairly prosperous area of the City and the Parish Church is linked historically and legally to Sheffield Cathedral. I have found several Luckman's living in that area during my research. I think they originally lived nearer the City centre, later generations moving up to Eccleshall. Unfortunately there are several George Luckman's. Most of the members of my branch were called George Edwin which makes it just a little easier to find them.
