Some of my info on your John Luckie family is different. My research shows that he died in Bourbon Co., KY, 1824 (although another source I found said 2/1794).I don't know exactly who his parents were but someone (?) gave me an indication they might be Robert and Isabela Baird.Supposedly John served as a private in the Am. Rev. (Western militia of NC):NC Archives, Vol.22,p.1014.After the war he moved his family to Bourbon Co.,KY.His son Robert served in Rev. War.DAR Patriot Index, Centennial Ed. has info on Robert, I'm told.John's will is on record in KY in which his wife is mentioned, but not named. Also, my info says that son Robert married first Catherine Foster and 2nd Mrs. Polly Thorn Hucklin (guess she had been previously married, too).If this John is son of Robert and Isabella his siblings were:Hugh, Andrew, James, Robert Jr., Samuel, Isabelle, Ann, Agnes, Mary, Sarah, and Jane.Agnes was not mentioned in will.Robert brought his family to PA from Londonderry, Ireland in 1732.Robert was born (according to LDS) 1666.His will written 1754 in Martic Township, Lancaster, PA.proven 1757.His father may have been Andrew and brothers may have been John (died by 1787), Samuel, and possibly Andrew. His son Robert Jr. wrote will in 1772 in Rowan Co.,NC.Son Hugh may have been marr. to Jane Findlay.I don't know how much of this info is accurate, but maybe it will give you some ideas of where to search.Hope so.
