Hi Maureen, My Cornelius Lucey was born in Portland, Me. HIs parents came over from County Cork or so his sister Hannah said. Con, as we called him, lived til he was 97. I think he passed away in the 1950's. He was living in Billerica, Ma. at the time with his sister Hannah who had been widowed for many years. Hannah was also born in Maine. They also had a brother James, my grandfather on my mother's side. It's possible Con was born in Ireland, really not sure about that. Hannah passed away in 1969 or so at the age of 94. James settled in Connecticut where he was married and had 7 children by 2 wives, first one passed away. She was my mother's mom. That's about all I have for now, still searching. All are gone now so it's difficult.
