does anyone have any Luceys/ Lucys from the macroom area that may have married into the O'connell family also from the macroom/Kilnamartyr area? I have a william O'connell b. about 1772 in Macroom who married Julia Shiela b. march 1, 1786. I have an article that mistakenly has her name as shiela lucy. I found out from her obit that her first name was Julia and from another family member who says her maiden name was sheila. So I am wondering if there is somehow a connection with the O'connells and Luceys since the name was mentioned in the article. I dont have any proof that her maiden name was Sheila, I just heard that from another family member. thanks.
