Mary,
Thank you for the information
on th No. Neck Va Lucas family. I am seeking the parentage of James Lucas, who patented land in Bedford/Campbell Co. VA. He and his wife Milly (Mildred Key) were the Thomas, Katherine (Kitty), and Eliza Luisa Lucas (b. 1806). James Lucas died intestate in 1807. His wife remarried to John Hix Jr. by 1810, and soon moved to TN. Naming patterns might suggest that the father of James Lucas b. ca. 1775-1780, was the son of Thomas Lucas.
Do you have futher information concerning the offspring of Thomas Lucas Jr., son of Thomas Lucas Sr. (7)?

Eliza Louisa Lucas grew up near Flat Creek, Bedford Co. TN, and married William Russell. They were my 3XGreat Grandparents.

Thank you again,
Pam Ingle
