Mary Phelan was married to John Luby (son of William & Hanora). She was born in 1834 and died in 1901 and is buried in Zanesville, Ohio. The Baptismal records in Ireland show a Mary Phelan as a sponsor to on of William & Hanora's sons (Thomas 1839)and there is a Phelan family living in Milltown Britton at the same time as the Luby family and in 1850, there are two Phelan families in the townland (Griffith Valuation).
