WOW! WOW! WOW!
Rodney, first let me apologize for my extremely slow response to this post!Your post seems to indicate that you have the evidence in your possession to verify the theories I had about this family (which is all I had based on what I'd found).I can't imagine how I didn't get an e-mail notice for this or, if I did, how I've overlooked it for 6 years! It sounds like you have the info. to solve one of the greatest and most frustrating mysteries of my life, one I have spent over a decade trying to solve. That mystery was the parents of Lucy Doner! If you have traced this branch of the family back to the 1600s I would love to see your research.I can only hope you are still visiting this forum or getting e-mail alerts and are willing to send me copies! It has been the most frustrating roadblock in my genealogy research (and also was for several other cousins in this forum). We were active for years before you posted and had given up after the forum started to be taken over by other Loya clans.I pray that you receive this message and will share the family history back to 1642 with me!Hoping to hear from you soon!
p.s.Do you have any info. on the other great mystery on this family, namely the much talked about Native American heritage?Any idea who was full blood and who wasn't and what tribe the bloodline came from (various oral histories seem to point to either Blackfoot or Abenaki)?
