Hi Dick
Thanks for the warm welcome.
The only new info is that Mary Loya Merritt Atwood's 2nd husband was named Henry Adams Atwood and they were married on June 26, 1909 in Rutland VT.
Thanks for the clarification on Harry Merritt. My mom alway thought he had something to do with the railroad but now I can tell her about his working for a news service.
As for the Beaudry side of my family--you are correct:Gosselin was Robert's wife Catherine's maiden name. She was born in Milford MAon 8/24/1895 but was raised by a Patenaude (or Patnode) in Shoreham or Bridport VT which is probably where she met Robert Beaudry. Also, Robert's sister, Elizabeth, married a Charles Bedore.I have hadno luck in any of this. While my dad was alive he was very testy about my wanting to contact the parents who had given him up for adoption.I did, however, meet one of his sisters once.Unfortunately she died back in the late 50's or early 60's at the young age of 37.I don't know her married name so I'm at a dead end.If you run across any info on Robert or Catherine (Gosselin)Beaudry, I'd really appreciate your passing it on.
Thanks again and take care.
Shirley
