Frederick Slagle Loy's (b. 14 Oct 1822, Frederick Co., Md.) first wife, Clarissa Purvis,( b. abt 1821, Seneca Co., N.Y.) died 15 May, 1879 in Independence, Buchanan Co., Iowa. Frederick and Clarissa were married 01 Sep. 1842 in Marion Co., Ohio, and had 9 children. About 1882 Frederick Loy married Sarah Baldwin in Adel, Dallas Co., Iowa. I would like any info available on Sarah Baldwin to add to my file. If anyone has a birthdate for Clarissa Purvis Loy, that would be greatly welcomed as well.
