David Lowrey:

Dear David,
I am so grateful for the time & efforts of Jewel in helping me make these connections. I would like to share what little information I have that was not posted.
John W Lowrey & Pearl Harris Lowrey (my fathers maternal grandparents) had a total of 9 children, 2 died as infants, I do not know when. There are an additional 3 children that Jewel did not list:
Maddie (Mattie?) Ruth "Pat" - age unknown
John - ?
Carson "Jock" - ?

It is my understanding that Maud, my grandmother was born Jan. 2, 1900 in Bynum, Tx, Grayson Co.. After checking my atlas I see Collin Co. is right next to Grayson Co. and in my sketchy notes I have a mention of Celina, Tx. connected to Pearl that is in Collin Co. also, directly down the road from Gunter. This all connects to Oklahoma and the reservation and Pearl is the one who is said to be one half Native American. I have had absolutely no information on her til now. I can not tell you how grateful I am for all of this information!
I can tell you that Maud Lowrey Marr married William Newton Earl Marr and that they spent many years in Hill Co. and are buried in Itasca Tx ( Hill Co.). They had 5 children, of which there is one surviving sibling, Jack.

Maud Ethel Lowrey b. 1/2/1900 Bynum, Tx
d. 1960's (62-63?) (she died in Waco, Tx,
living in Hillsboro,Tx. - buried in
Itasca, Tx)
m. Wm N.E.Marr (?) possibly in Gunter, Tx
CHILDREN: Gwen(oldest)Hancock -(Ross)
Margaret "Pud" Roberson (Joe)-1 son Joe, Jr.
(Katy, Tx)
William "Billy" -b. 1927 (?); died at 6yrs of
scarlet fever/double pnuemonia - Malone, Tx
Harris Arthur -(my father)b. 1/25/29,Malone,TX
d.10/30/80 - Victoria, Tx (51 yrs)***
(probably from radiation exp. from Hiroshima)
Jack - b. 1931, Malone, Tx
retired, living in Arlington, Tx.

Any other information or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Any information I have that would be of any interest to you please let me know.
Kathy Marr Huegele
