Frances,
I have a record of a Benjamin Lowery marrying Martha Sanford in Walton County, GA on Feb. 9, 1834. Also, marrying in this county were Jacob Lowery and Delilah Forrester on Oct. 18, 1835. I believe that they traveled from Edgefield, SC and into Alabama. I am looking for information on Conrad Lowery (various spellings of the name) who was in the 1830 Walton County census with two Jacob Lowerys. One Jacob was about the same age as Conrad (spelled Coonrod in census) between 70 and 80 years old and the other was between 40 and 50. I am trying to find what connection, if any, these Lowreys have to Conrad Martin Lowry (born 1797) who lived in Edgefield. I have some land records for Jacob, Conrad, and Peter Lowry in Edgefield, SC up through about 1820. If interested in sharing please email me directly by clinking on my name to get the email address and please label the subject as Lowery information.
