Sorry Joyce, I thought I was on to something there. When I sent away for the death certificate for my Ggrandfather George W. Lowrance(1877-1941), it came back reading George William Lowrance. I was told and it is documented that his name was George Washington Lowrance, but the dates on the certificate matched his birth and death dates. The info for the death certificate was given by his wife Tennie Lowrance. My Ggrandmother was married to him at the time of his death and her name was Ella Jane Woody. So you can see my confusion. I thought maybe your Tennie might have some connection, but apparently not. To answer your other question, I don't have much on Henry Clay, but I do have some info on Miles A. Lowrance. Contact me if you are interested. Bev
