The 1880 Census contains an error regarding one of the children of Richard and Caroline Hammond Lowman. The 10 year-old listed as Rachel A. was actaully a son named Richard Alsey, b. 4 Apr 1870.

I am descended from the eldest daughter, Caroline Lowman.
