I am looking for information about Thomas Gamble Lowman [1770-1826] of Queen Annes County Maryland. He died ca August 5, 1826 near Centreville, Queen Annes County. He had two daughters -- Elizabeth Jane Lowman, who married Vincent Lee [in 1842, also of Queen Annes County], and Milla Minta Lowman [of whom I know nothing]. I am a descendant of Elizabeth Jane Lowman Lee, who died in Kent County December 1866.
Both daughters of Thomas were born out of wedlock, as per Thomas' will [found at Centreville Court House].
I do know Thomas was the son of James Lowman [and Sarah Gamble], who was the son of Joseph Lowman [and Elizabeth ?], who was the son of Samuel Lowman [and Letitia Wood, granddaughter of Augustine Hermann]; but, I would like to be able to fill in some biographical information about them as well.
Would love to share with others researching this line. I do have copies of several Lowman wills that I have transcribed while doing research on the Eastern Shore of Maryland years ago.
